Location: in the university zone but without the students...
This hotel backs onto the posh polo club, where you can see the horses being trained and the riders practicing their skills.
The hotel has two pools: one outside and an indoor heated pool for those of you who, like me, can’t do a cold pool!
You have your fitness suite and spa, along with an outdoor terraced bar to sit and watch the sun.
You can even go to the David Lloyd tennis club next door if you fancy practising your strokes.
The hotel staff are amazing and extremely helpful; especially when looking for that special place to go in the city.
If you fancy a night in at the hotel, have no fear, for you’ll get service with a smile.
They’ll make your Mojito cocktail right the first time. Quality of food is good… but am not going to lie, it is rather pricey.
However, the DJ will play his beats with a London flavour to keep you from missing home.
Quiet and residential but minutes away from the local metro, if you wish to get around the city faster than a taxi.
Barcelona does not do UBER for you Uberites, so bear this in mind, when thinking of how to get around. Just stick your hand out for a green light taxi and you’re good to go.
Despite this hotel being in a suburban area, it does not disappoint for its simplicity but grandness. You may even bump into an official diplomat hosting a red carpet event or you can always pretend to own that Ferrari...
